Trinity Spring Student-Athletes Earn NESCAC All-Academic Recognition

Hartford, Conn. – The Trinity College spring athletic teams placed 89 student-athletes on the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) 2017-18 Spring All-Academic Team.  To be honored, an individual must have reached sophomore academic standing and be a varsity letter winner with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.40. A transfer student must have completed one year of study at the institution.

Of the 1,165 student-athletes named to the team, 156 members of the group garnered both All-Academic and All-NESCAC accolades this spring. A total of 72 individuals were named to both the All-Sportsmanship and All-Academic Teams by the conference.  Eleven individuals collected all three honors, including Trinity men's golf senior captain Nate Choukas (Hanover, N.H.).
