    Hartford, Conn. – The Trinity College baseball team, under the direction of third-year Head Coach Bryan Adamski, ended the 2016 season with a 17-21 record and finished second in the East Division of the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC). The Bantams finished as runner-ups in the NESCAC Championship Tournament, ending a two-year postseason drought in the process.

  • Trinity's Mayo to Help Coach USA Women's National Baseball Team

    Hartford, Conn. - Trinity College assistant baseball coach Tim Mayo has been named as an assistant coach for the U.S.A. Women's Baseball World Cup team in September. The Women's National Team will travel to Gijang City, South Korea for the 2016 World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) Women's Baseball World Cup from September 3-11.
  • Trinity Spring Student-Athletes Earn All-Academic Honors

    Hartford, Conn. – The Trinity College spring athletic teams placed 64 student-athletes on the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) 2015-16 Spring All-Academic Team. To be honored, an individual must have reached sophomore academic standing and be a varsity letter winner with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.35. A transfer student must have completed one year of study at the institution.
  • Eight Bantam Spring Athletes Named to All-Sportsmanship Team

    Hartford, Conn. - Eight Trinity College spring athletes were named to the 2016 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) All-Sportsmanship Team for their positive contributions to sportsmanship. Men's track and field senior co-captain Geoffrey Bocobo (Villanova, Pa.) earned his second appearance on the team and was joined by women's track and field junior Katie Tonyai (Jaffrey, N.H.), men's lacrosse senior Seth Bird (Concord, Mass.), women's lacrosse senior Abby McQuillan (Medfield, Mass.), men's tennis senior tri-captain Aaron Segel (Needham, Mass.), womens' tennis senior captain Melita Ferjanic (Samobor, Croatia), baseball senior Mackenze Genauer (Montclair, N.J.), softball junior Victoria Baez (Tuckahoe, N.Y.), men's rowing senior Christopher White (Winchester, Mass.), and women's rowing senior co-captain Claudia Jensen (Bronxville, N.Y.).

    Hartford, Conn. - As the spring semester comes to an end, the year's 33rd athletes of the week have been named thanks to their strong performances on the lacrosse and baseball fields. Women's lacrosse sophomore attacker Abby McInerney (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) and baseball sophomore pitcher Erik Mohl (Milton, Mass.) have been named as the Bantams of the Week.
  • Trinity Baseball Finishes as Runner-Ups at NESCAC Championship Tournament

    Nashua, N.H. - The Tufts University baseball team had 15 hits and scored in six of eight innings to win the 2016 NESCAC Championship with an 18-6 victory over Trinity College on Sunday at historic Holman Stadium in Nashua. Trinity, which entered the tournament with a 15-19 overall record, played three times on Saturday and won twice to make it to Sunday's Championship round. The Bantams had wins over Amherst (13-6) and Wesleyan (10-4) in elimination games. They finish their season with a 17-21 record.
