  • Trinity Baseball Players Enjoy Success on Summer Ballfields

    Hartford, Conn. - The Trinity College baseball team, led by Head Coach Bryan Adamski (6th season), completed its season in May, but for five Bantams the end of the spring campaign marked the beginning of the summer season.

    Hartford, Conn. - Trinity College senior 2B Cooper Mooney (Southbury, Conn.) was named to the 2018 Google Cloud Academic All-District Baseball  Team, selected by CoSIDA.  The 2018 Google Cloud Academic All-District teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.

    Hartford, Conn. – The Trinity College baseball team, under the direction of fourth-year Head Coach Bryan Adamski, ended the 2018 season with an 18-15 record and finished in a three-way tie for second in the East Division of the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) with a 7-5 mark in conference play. The Bantams lost out on the tie-breaker, falling short of the post-season, but saw a handful of great performances by a core that will return next spring and should set the squad up to compete for the conference championship next season. 
  • Bants Baseball Camps to Host September Clinic at Trinity

    Hartford, Conn. - Bants Baseball Camps will hold its annual fall clinic on September 29 at Murren Family Field/DiBenedetto Stadium on Trinity's campus. The camp is for high school baseball players looking to gain instruction from college coaches and players in all phases of the game.

    Hartford, Conn. - Trinity College sophomore SS Matt Koperniak (Adams, Mass.) was named to the 2018 D3Baseball.com All-New England Region Third Team and joined Bantam senior 2B Cooper Mooney (Southbury, Conn.) on the 2018 All-New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Baseball First Team while Trinity sophomore RHP Alex Shafer (Baltimore, Md.) graced the All-NESCAC Second Team.

    Hartford, Conn. - With the spring seasons coming to a close, the Trinity College baseball team recently capped off a successful season despite missing out on the post-season due to tiebreaking rules. Senior co-captain Cooper Mooney, the starting second baseman for the Bantams, was a key contributor to the team’s success this year.

    Hartford, Conn. - As we hit the home stretch of the spring sports season, this year's 33rd Bantams of the Week have been named, thanks to their strong performances on the track and field and baseball diamond. Women's track and field sophomore Devan Walsh (Danvers, Mass.) and baseball senior Brendan Pierce (Hingham, Mass.) have been named as the Bantams of the Week.

    Hartford, Conn. - Trinity College will host the 2018 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Baseball Championship Tournament on Murren Family Field in DiBenedetto Stadium for the first time on May 11 to May 13. 
  • Trinity Baseball Splits Doubleheader With Wesleyan on Final Day of Regular Season

    Hartford, Conn. - After falling, 6-5, in game one, the Trinity College Baseball team came back with a 7-6 victory in game two to split a doubleheader with the Wesleyan University Cardinals on the final day of the regular season at Murren Family Field at DiBenedetto Stadium in Hartford. The Bantams end their season with an 18-15 overall record while Wesleyan moves to 21-14 on the year.

    Hartford, Conn. - As we enter the final month of the academic calendar, this year's 32nd Bantams of the Week have been named, thanks to their strong performances on the track and field and baseball diamond. Women's track and field sophomore Peace Kabari (Manchester, N.H.) and baseball junior Tyler Buckley (Mt. Kisco, N.Y.) have been named as the Bantams of the Week.

    Amsterdam, N.Y. - Senior OF Brendan Pierce (Hingham, Mass.) went 4-for-4 with a run, a double, a triple, four RBI, and two walks to lead the visiting Trinity College Bantams to a 16-9 victory over the Union College Dutchmen in baseball action this evening at Shuttleworth Park. 
  • Shafer Flirts With No Hitter, Trinity Baseball Defeats Framingham State, 2-0

    Hartford, Conn. - Trinity College sophomore Alex Shafer (Baltimore, Md.) took a no-hitter into the sixth inning before giving up his first base knock of the game, leading the Bantams to a 2-0 victory over the visiting Framingham State Rams on Tuesday evening at Murren Family Field at DiBenedetto Stadium in Hartford.

The Bantams host Framingham State on Tuesday before traveling to Upstate New York to take on Union College on Wednesday.   • Trinity Baseball Game Versus Roger Williams Postponed Due to Rain

    Hartford, Conn. - Trinity College baseball's game versus Roger Williams, scheduled for today, April 25, at 5 p.m., has been postponed due to rain. The game was originally scheduled to be played earlier this season during both teams' trip to South Carolina, but was cancelled then due to weather as well. A makeup date for the game has yet to be determined.
  • Trinity Baseball Topples Western New England at Home

    Hartford, Conn. – Junior 3B Tyler Buckley went 3-for-4 with two doubles, three RBIs and a run scored to help carry the Trinity College baseball team to a 10-6 victory over the visiting Western New England Golden Bears on Tuesday afternoon at Murren Family Field at DiBenedetto Stadium in Hartford. The win moves the Bantams to 14-13 overall while the Golden Bears fall to 22-11 on the year.

    Hartford, Conn. - Trinity College senior 2B Cooper Mooney (Southbury, Conn.) has been named New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Baseball Player of the Week, as announced by the league on Monday afternoon. Mooney batted .563 with a .632 on-base percentage and an .875 slugging percentage in four games last week.
