  • Trinity Field Hockey's Finn Adds NCAA Woman of the Year Nomination To Lengthy List Athletic Awards

    Hartford, Conn. - Trinity College senior co-captain forward Kelcie Finn (Weymouth, Mass.) was chosen as the Longstreth/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III National Player of the Year, earning the award for the second season in a row, as Trinity's senior female athlete of the year (Trinity Club of Hartford Award), and as one of 11 nominees by the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) for the NCAA Woman of the Year Award.

    Hartford, Conn. - Trinity College field hockey senior co-captain Cara Daly (Hamilton, Mass.), juniors Jenna Behan (West Hartford, Conn.), and Chandler Solimine (Pelham, N.Y.), and sophomores Cara Bradley (East Lyme, Conn.), Caroline Curtin (Andover, Mass.), Olivia Hoyda (Darien, Conn.), and Nicole Quinlan (Duxbury, Mass.) were each named to both the 2017 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Fall All-Academic Team and the Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad, while senior co-captain Kelcie Finn (Weymouth, Mass.), junior Lori Berger (Scottsdale, Ariz.), sophomore Jordan Ragland (Westport, Conn.), and first-years Bailey Cunningham (Cheshire, Conn.), Katherine Devaney (Andover, Mass.), Caroline Fisher (Kennett Square, Pa.), Jessie Midlige (Bernardsville, N.J.), and Julie Roche (Cheshire, Conn.) also graced the Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad.

This event is a purely informational day, as there is no clinic this year due to the renovation and resurfacing of Robin Sheppard Field.
