Volleyball sophomore setter Jessica Yang (Pacific Palisades, Calif.) and sophomore men's soccer forward Alistair Matule (Charlestown, Mass.) have been named as the Bantams of the Week.

Chauncey Allers (Wilton, Conn.) led the Colonials with four first half goals as WCSU improves to 10-2-2 on the year.

    Hartford, Conn. - Sophomore Patrick Kennedy (Weymouth, Mass.) and rookie Andrew Shea (Somerset, Mass.) both scored their first career goals while first-year goalie Everett Lyons (Southport, Conn.) picked up his first career win in net to lead the Trinity College men's soccer team to a 2-0 shutout of Western New England University on Wednesday night in Hartford. The Bantams improve to 2-5 overall and snap a five-game losing skid while the Golden Bears fall to 6-2-2 on the year.

The loss puts Trinity at 1-5 overall and 0-4 in the NESCAC while the Mules improve to 3-2-1 on the year and 1-1-1 in league play. Trinity returns to the pitch on Wednesday night for a non-conference matchup with Western New England at home.
