Trinity's Alistair Matule Earns Men's Soccer All-NESCAC Honors

Hartford, Conn. - Trinity College men's soccer sophomore Alistair Matule (Charlestown, Mass.) has been named to the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) All-Conference Second Team. The Bantams, led by Head Coach Mike Pilger (15th season), finished the 2018 season with a 2-13 overall record and finished 11th in the NESCAC with an 0-11 record.  Matule enjoyed a breakout sophomore season, leading the Bantams with 15 points (T2nd in NESCAC) on six goals (T3rd in NESCAC) and three assists. He also recorded his first two-goal game versus Middlebury in a narrow 3-2 loss. A graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy in New Hampshire, he is the son of Lucia and Matthew Matule.
