    Hartford, Conn. – The Trinity College men's cross country team enjoyed another successful fall season in 2016 as the team produced particularly strong showings at the Trinity Invitational, the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational and the Connecticut College Invitational. The Bantams, coached by George Suitor (25th season), recorded a trio of top-ten results during the season and placed 15th out of 56 teams at the New England Regional Championships in November.

    Hartford, Conn. – The Trinity College fall athletic teams placed 45 student-athletes on the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) 2016 Fall All-Academic Team, as announced by the league on Wednesday. To be honored, an individual must have reached sophomore academic standing and be in good standing on their team with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.40. A transfer student must have completed one year of study at the institution.

    Hartford, Conn. - Eight Trinity College fall athletes were named to the 2016 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) All-Sportsmanship Team for their positive contributions to sportsmanship. Golf sophomore Jack Junge (Lincolnshire, Ill.) earned his first appearance on the team after earning All-NESCAC First Team honors earlier this fall, and was joined by men's cross country junior Kyle Larsson (Franklin Lakes, N.J.), women's cross country senior captain Sophie Long (Darien, Conn.), field hockey senior tri-captain Sydney Doolittle (Milford, Conn.), men's soccer senior captain Oliver Murphy (Montclair, N.J.), women's soccer junior Jillian Ramsay (Glastonbury, Conn.), football senior Patrick Dorsey (Lynn, Mass.), and volleyball senior tri-captain Rachel Huges (Boxborough, Mass.).

    Waterville, Maine - The Trinity College men's cross country team placed 11th at the 2016 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Cross Country Championships on Saturday afternoon at Colby College in Waterville, Maine. In rainy conditions, Bantam sophomore Zachary Joachim (Sudbury, Mass.) led the Trinity runners with a time of 26:54.13, good for 29th place. Trinity freshman Ace McAlister (Great Barrington, Mass.) turned in a 39th place finish with a time of 27:05.98.
  • Men's Cross Country Takes Ninth at Connecticut College Invitational

    Waterford, Conn. - Freshman Ace McAlister (Great Barrington, Mass.) turned in an 11th place finish out of 241 competing runners to pace the Trinity College men's cross country team to a ninth place finish at the Connecticut College Cross Country Invitational on Saturday at Harkness Memorial State Park in Waterford, Connecticut. Out of 20 teams, the Bantams finished 44 points ahead of tenth place Babson, and just behind York College in eighth.
