    Hartford, Conn. - The Trinity College women's ice hockey and baseball teams, coached by Keith Maurice and Bryan Adamski, partnered to host a Be The Match bone marrow drive earlier this month, in an effort to raise awareness and find potential matches for life-threatening blood cancers like leukemia and lymphoma. The event was held upstairs at Mather where attendees took a simple blood test to potentially get on the Registry and save someone's life.

To be honored, an individual must have reached sophomore academic standing and be a varsity letter winner with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.35. A transfer student must have completed one year of study at the institution.

    Despite scoring the first goal of the game, the No. 5 seeded Trinity College women's hockey team was unable to stave off the top-seeded Middlebury Panthers in the semifinals of the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Women's Hockey Championship Tournament. Trinity drops its first game since February 6 while Middlebury remains a perfect 13-0-3 against conference opponents this year. The Panthers advance to tomorrow's championship game against the winner of this afternoon's game between Conn College and Amherst.
