Trinity Women's Ice Hockey 2017-18 Captains Receiving Media Attention

Hartford, Conn. - Trinity College women's ice hockey senior captain Hannah Oganeku (Castle Pines, Colo.) was hired as an assistant women's ice hockey coach at St. Norbert College, as announced by St. Norbert last month.  Fellow Bantam senior captain Kelcie Finn (Weymouth, Mass.) took a look back on her outstanding career on the ice and the field hockey turf as on the Bantam Spotlight with Mike Gualtieri.  Finn, the college's Trinity Club of Hartford Trophy Award winner (Senior Female Athlete of the Year), recently graduated after earning back-to-back National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) National Field Hockey Player of the Year awards and leading Trinity's women's ice hockey team in scoring.  Finn was most recently chosen as a nominee for the 2018 NCAA Woman of the Year award, and received media attention on NESCAC.com, in The Hartford Courant, the Weymouth News, and the Boston Globe.  Trinity, coached by Keith Maurice (3rd Season), finished the 2017-18 season with a 7-16-1 overall record and finished ninth in the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) with a 3-12-1 league mark.  Finn scored 10 goals and added five assists to lead the Bantam offense with 15 points.
