Trinity's Sydney Belinskas Named NESCAC Women's Ice Hockey Player of the Week

Hartford, Conn. - Trinity College women's ice hockey senior goalie Sydney Belinskas (Port Orange, Fla.) has been named as the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Women's Ice Hockey Player of the Week thanks to her outstanding performances in a pair of Trinity wins over the weekend. Belinskas made 33 saves in each game, as Trinity swept Buffalo State on the road, 1-0 and 4-2. She recorded a shutout for Trinity's first win of the year, had double-digit saves in five of six periods, and posted a .971 save percentage for the weekend. Trinity won both games despite being outshot by 10 or more each day against the Bengals.
