Boston, Mass. - Senior tri-captain Jenna Wilborne (New Haven, Conn.) finished eighth in the triple jump with a distance of 39'01.00, as the Trinity College Bantams competed in the David Hemery Valentine Women's Indoor Track and Field Invitational at Boston University this weekend. Wilborne shattered her own Trinity indoor record in the event set earlier this season by 3.25 inches and was four places and 4.25 inches better than any other NCAA Division III competitor in the field. Wilborne also moves up to third in the national seeding for the triple jump, as 39'01.00" is the third-longest distance by an NCAA Division III woman this winter.
Bantam senior tri-captain Lily Talesnick (Littleton, Colo.) added a 28th-place throw of 37'04.50" in the shot out, and senior tri-captain Mary Daly (Madison, Wisc.) was 44th in the 1,000-meter run at 3:01.50. Talesnick was third among NCAA Division III throwers and Daly was sixth among Division III runners in their respective events.
