Trinity Fall Student-Athletes Earn NESCAC All-Academic Honors

Hartford, Conn. – The Trinity College fall athletic teams placed 44 student-athletes on the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) 2018 Fall All-Academic Team.  To be honored, an individual must have reached sophomore academic standing, and be in good standing in their sport with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50 or equivalent on a 4.0 scale. Transfers must have completed one year of study at the institution.

Of the 636 student-athletes named to the team, 230 were honored for the second time in their career, while 149 were recognized for the third time. In addition, 63 members of the group garnered both All-Academic and All-NESCAC accolades this fall, including Trinity field hockey senior co-captain Chandler Solimine (Pelham, N.Y.), who was named the NESCAC Field Hockey Offensive Player of the Year this season. Solimine has been honored on the NESCAC All-Academic Team each season she was eligible.
