David Kingsley, Director of Sports Communications at Trinity College, handles all of the media requests and public relations efforts for the Bantams’ 30 varsity athletic teams. Working out of the College’s Office of Communications and hand in hand with the Department of Physical Education & Recreation, he maintains the Trinity Athletics website ( The sports communications department produces gameday programs for home athletic events and writes pre- and post-game releases on each of Trinity’s athletic contests, which are distributed to regional and national media outlets. The office also runs the Trinity Athletics webcasts, social media platforms, photography and videography, and supervises the collection of school records and team statistical data for reporting to the NESCAC and NCAA.

Kingsley has gained attention for Trinity athletes, coaches and teams in several national outlets, including ESPN SportsCenter, Sports Illustrated, USA Today, the New York Times, The Sporting News and ESPN the Magazine among others. He has also served as the primary contact for dozens of NESCAC, NCAA, and CSA Tournaments.  A member of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) and ECAC-SIDA, Kingsley served on the CoSIDA Olympics Liaison Committee andon Trinity's Exempt Staff Council, whose mission is to enable the staff members at the College to contribute more meaningfully to the Trinity's pursuit of its educational mission.  In addition, Kingsley was director of sports information for the Connecticut Nutmeg State Games for 10 years.

A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor's degree in communication, Kingsley was assistant sports information director at Southern Connecticut State University prior to Trinity.  At Penn, he was a pitcher for the baseball team and served as pitching coach at Southern Connecticut State's baseball squad for three years while earning his master's degree in exercise science with a concentration in psychology of sport.  Kingsley currently lives in Hamden with his wife, Kathy, their daughter, Jocelyn, and their son, Liam.
