Kristen Noone was promoted to associate athletic director in January of 2018 after serving as assistant athletic director responsible for compliance and student-athlete welfare and as senior woman administrator for the previous four years.  She will add sport supervision to her responsibilities while continuing to serve as the athletic department's contest scheduler, advisor to the Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC), and the College's deputy title IX coordinator.  Noone is also the administrative sport liaison to the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) for swimming & diving.  She served as Trinity's interim director athletics from June to December in 2017.  Prior to June 2017, Noone was also Trinity's director of physical education.  

Noone was Trinity's head men's and women's swimming and diving coach and an assistant and later associater professor of physical education from 2000 to 2013, and served as its director of aquatics thru 2014.  She was also an assistant swimming and diving coach at Trinity in 1999-00. Her teams consistently set new school records and earned the College Swimming Coaches Association Academic All American Team Award, and several swimmers and divers earned NESCAC All-Academic honors each season as well. 

Noone competed as a distance freestyler and backstroker at Boston College, where she earned her bachelor's degree in 1989. A four-year letter winner and captain in her senior year, she was a Big East Conference and New England Championships qualifier all four years, and she earned numerous academic honors as an undergraduate.  Noone completed her master's degree at Trinity in 2007.
