Trinity College athletics welcomes James Schilkowski as the new Athletic Director for Business Operations. Schilkowski joins the Bantam athletic program after serving in the same role at Quinnipiac University. While in Hamden, Schilkowski oversaw all business operations for the department of athletics & recreation while also serving as a liaison between the department and the University's human resources department. Previously at Quinnipiac, he served as the assistant athletic director for equipment services where handled the day-to-day equipment needs of Quinnipiac’s 21 varsity sports programs.
While at Quinnipiac Schilkowski also worked in the Athletics Department as an assistant for Operations. His responsibilities included game and event management for all home events on the main campus and eventually for the People's United Center. He was also involved in the compliance and athletic academic support offices.
Schilkowski is a 2004 graduate of Sacred Heart where he was a four year varsity letter winner for the Pioneer baseball team. He was an All NEC and All New England pick in 2002 as a sophomore. Schilkowski also recently completed his master's degree in organization leadership from Quinnipiac University in 2016 and worked for two years at Sacred Heart Prior as the assistant equipment manager.
