Hartford, Conn. - The seventh Bantams of the Week of the 2019 fall season have been selected thanks to their strong performances on the field hockey turf and the football field. Junior field hockey forward Kendall Brown (Rowayton, Conn.) and sophomore football QB Seamus Lambert (North Andover, Mass.) have been named as the Bantams of the Week.
Each week, the Trinity athletics website will spotlight two outstanding student-athletes - one male, one female - as the Bantams of the Week. Student-athletes may be chosen based upon their efforts both on and off the field of competition from the previous week.
Brown had a goal and two assists in a 5-0 win at Springfield and scored twice more in a 3-2 overtime loss at top-ranked Middlebury. Brown tied the Middlebury game in the third quarter with an unassisted goal and gave the Bantams a 2-1 lead with her second tally in the fourth quarter
Lambert finished nine-for-12 passing for 230 yards and two touchdowns in a 43-7 victory over Colby. He tossed touchdown passes of three and nine yards, and added 67 rushing yards against the Mules.
