Trinity Winter Student-Athletes Named To NESCAC All-Academic Team

Hartford, Conn. – The Trinity College winter athletic teams placed 43 student-athletes on the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) 2018-19 Winter All-Academic Team, as announced by the league on Tuesday. To be honored, an individual must have reached sophomore academic standing and be in good standing on their team with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50. A transfer student must have completed one year of study at the institution.

Of the 864 student-athletes named to the team, 315 were honored for the second time in their career, while 224 were recognized for the third time. In addition, 59 members of the group garnered both All-Academic and All-NESCAC accolades this winter.  A total of 36 individuals were named to both the All-Sportsmanship and All-Academic Teams, and Bantam women's squash senior co-captain Jenny Haley (Newport, Wales) was one just five individuals to grace both teams and the All-NESCAC team in her sport.
