Hartford, Conn. - Trinity College has announced the hiring of Josh Bannon as an assistant strength and conditioning coach. Bannon comes to Trinity from Sacred Heart University where he was an intern with the football, men's and women's lacrosse, men's soccer, and wrestling programs. Bannon has also interned with the football strength and conditioning staffs at both the University of Connecticut, the University of Massachusetts, and with both football and men's lacrosse at Yale University over the last three summers.
Bannon is currently earning his master's degree in exercise science and nutrition from Sacred Heart University. He holds a bachelor's degree in athletic training from Westfield State University and an associate's degree in exercise science from Berkshire Community College. Bannon is a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS), a United States Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach (USAW), and a certified athletic trainer (ATC)
