Trinity's Picon-Roura Honored As NESCAC Defensive Player Of The Week

Hartford, Conn. - Trinity College junior OLB Dago Picon-Roura (Roslindale, Mass.) was selected as the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Football Defensive Player of the Week for his outstanding play in a 27-5 victory at Middlebury on Saturday.  Picon-Roura led all tacklers with 11 (6 solo), intercepted a pass and returned it 19 yards to the Panther nine-yard line to set up a Trinity touchdown, and broke up two other passes. The Bantam defense held its opponent without a touchdown for the third game this season.  Picon-Roura is Trinity's third NESCAC Defensive Player of the Week this fall.  Picon-Roura also joined Chipouras, Puzzo, Jean-Jacques, and Sachse on the Noontime Sports Northeast Team of the Week.
