  • Trinity Football Announces 2019 Schedule

    Hartford, Conn. - The Trinity College football team, led by Head Coach Jeff Devanney (14th season), has announced its schedule for the 2019 season. The Bantams will hit the gridiron nine times in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) action, including five tilts in front of the home faithful at Jessee/Miller Field as they look to defend the NESCAC title for the fourth-straight season.

    Hartford, Conn. – Trinity College football senior tri-captain Nick Rose (Arlington, Mass.) and senior Steve O'Reilly (Topsfield, Mass.) were selected to represent the Bantams on the National Football Foundation (NFF) & College Hall of Fame Hampshire Society and joined seniors Matthew LaPorta (Beaconsville, Quebec) and Bradley Whitman (Salisbury, Mass.) and juniors Josh Brito (Wayland, Mass.), Matthew Evans (Whitman, Mass.), Dan McKeeney (Westwood, Mass.), Jordan Vazzano (Trumbull, Conn.) on the 2018 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Fall All-Academic Team.

The Bantams, coached by Jeff Devanney (14th season), finished the 2018 campaign with an 8-1 record to win the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Championship crown for the third consecutive season.

    Hartford, Conn. - Trinity College football senior tri-captain RB Max Chipouras (Longmeadow, Mass.) has been named to the D3Football All-East Region First Team while junior OL Austin Baiardi (Smithtown, N.Y.) earned D3Football.com All-East Region Third Team honors, as announced on Tuesday, December 4. The pair also earned New England Football Writers Division II/III All-New England honors and First Team All-New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) honors earlier this fall as well.
  • Trinity Fall Student-Athletes Earn NESCAC All-Academic Honors

    Hartford, Conn. – The Trinity College winter athletic teams placed 44 student-athletes on the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) 2018 Fall All-Academic Team.  To be honored, an individual must have reached sophomore academic standing, and be in good standing in their sport with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50 or equivalent on a 4.0 scale. Transfers must have completed one year of study at the institution.

    Lewiston, Maine - Rookie QB Seamus Lambert (North Andover, Mass.) went 22-29 for 280 yards passing and three touchdowns while adding 75 yards rushing on 15 carries as the Trinity College football team routed the Bowdoin College Polar Bears, 48-6, on Saturday afternoon at Whittier Field in Brunswick, Maine. The Bantams, ranked No. 7 in New England, pick up their 20th-straight victory over the Polar Bears to improve to 5-1 on the year.
