    Hartford, Conn. - Trinity College senior co-captain forward Chandler Solimine (Pelham, N.Y.) was named as one of seven nominees by the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) for the NCAA Woman of the Year Award. 
  • Field Hockey Announces 2019 Campaign

    Hartford, Conn. - The Trinity College field hockey team, led by Head Coach Anne Parmenter (19th season), has announced its schedule for the 2019 season. In total, the Bantams will take to the field 15 times, highlighted by seven contests in front of their home crowd at Robin L. Sheppard Field. The team will play 10 important New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) contests and five non-conference games versus nationally competitive regional opponents.

    Hartford, Conn. - Trinity College Assistant Field Hockey Coach Katie Kloeckener was profiled by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) on NFHCA.org as part of its "Ask A Coach" series, while Trinity Head Coach Anne Parmenter was included in a Hartford Courant story, in Hartford Magazine, and in a story on the college's website (trincoll.edu) about tennis legend Chris Evert's visit to the Trinity campus to kick off Women's History Month in early March.
  • Trinity Students Experience Spring Break Adventure in Arizona

    Over spring break, Trinity’s Director of Recreation, Kevin Johnson, led a group of ten students on a week-long rock climbing and hiking excursion through Arizona. For several years now, Trinity’s Outdoor Education program has organized these exploratory trips over winter and spring break for small groups of students who are interested. These trips provide a once in a lifetime opportunity to fully engage in outdoor activities with members of the Trinity community from all different niches of campus.

    Hartford, Conn.- Trinity College field hockey goalkeeper Lori Berger (Scottsdale, Ariz.) was honored as the Zag Field Hockey/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III National Scholar Athlete, presented to the 2018 Longstreth/NFHCA Division III All-American honoree who earns the highest cumulative grade-point average through the first semester of the 2018-19 academic year.

The No. 13 ranked Bantams return to action this week with a pair of New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) matchups, beginning on Wednesday evening at Connecticut College, followed by a home tilt against the No. 24 ranked Continentals of Hamilton College on Saturday.
  • Trinity Fall Student-Athletes Earn NESCAC All-Academic Honors

    Hartford, Conn. – The Trinity College winter athletic teams placed 44 student-athletes on the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) 2018 Fall All-Academic Team.  To be honored, an individual must have reached sophomore academic standing, and be in good standing in their sport with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50 or equivalent on a 4.0 scale. Transfers must have completed one year of study at the institution.

    Clinton, N.Y. - The Trinity College field hockey team came away with a 2-0 victory over the Hamilton College Continentals on Saturday at a rainy Goodfriend Field in Clinton, N.Y. in the quarterfinals of the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Championship Tournament. The No. 17-ranked Bantams improve to 12-4 on the year and advance to next weekend's semifinals at a site to be determined. Hamilton falls to 10-6 on the year with the loss.

    Hartford, Conn. - The Trinity College field hockey team, which finished the 2018 regular season with an 11-5 record and tied for fourth place with Bowdoin and Hamilton in the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) with a 6-4 league mark, has qualified for the league's championship tournament for the 13th consecutive season and will visit the Hamilton College Continentals in the quarterfinals for the second year in a row on Saturday, October 27 at 12:30 p.m.

    Hartford, Conn. - The Trinity College field hockey team held Wellesley College without a single shot all game in a 6-0 victory on Saturday afternoon in Hartford. The Bantams scored twice in the first half before pouring on four more goals in the second to improve to 10-4 overall and snap a two-game losing skid. The Blue fall to 5-10 on the year with the setback. Before the game Trinity honored its four seniors, Chandler Solimine (Pelham, N.Y.), Ally Slowe (Medfield, Mass.),  Jenna Behan (West Hartford, Conn.) and Lori Berger (Scottsdale, Ariz.), as part of Senior Day.
