THIS WEEK: The No. 14-ranked Trinity College field hockey team enters the second week of the season with a 1-1 record after winning its season opener, 2-0, at Smith, and falling, 1-0, to New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) foe Williams. The Bantams return to action this weekend when they travel to No. 16-ranked Hamilton on Saturday.

Hamilton Series History: Trinity holds a 7-1 record against the Continentals dating back to the 2011 season.

Recent history against the Continentals: Trinity fell to Hamilton, 3-2, early in the 2017 regular season but got revenge when it mattered, earning a 3-1 victory in the quarterfinals of the NESCAC Championship Tournament. 


- Trinity is third in the NESCAC in goals allowed, yielding just a single score in two games. 

- Senior co-captain Chandler Solimine is tied for fifth in the league with 10 shots. Solimine finished the week with three points on a goal and an assist, scoring the game-winner in Trinity's 2-0, season-opening victory over Smith and adding an assist on the second goal. 

- Junior Caroline Curtin assisted on Solimine's goal for her first point of the season. 

- Senior goaltender Lori Berger finished the week with nine saves (5th in NESCAC) and allowed just one goal in 140 minutes of play. She ranks third in the NESCAC with a 0.50 GAA and third with a .900 save percentage. 

- Trinity is ranked No. 14 in the NFHCA Poll, falling after starting the season ranked No. 9. Hamilton is the team's next top-20 opponent on the schedule until October 6 game at Bowdoin who is currently ranked No. 10.
