Keene, N.H. - The Trinity College defense held the Keene State College Owls without a single shot, as the visiting Bantams handed the Owls their first loss of the season, 3-0, at Owl Complex this evening.  Three different Bantams scored goals and senior backstop Lori Berger (Scottsdale, Ariz.) did not need to make a single save to earn her first shutout of the fall.  Trinity evens its season mark at 2-2 with its eighth-straight win over the Owls, while Keene State drops to 6-1.  The Bantams entertain New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) rival Colby in their home opener on Saturday at 11 a.m., and the Owls host Salem State the same day at 1:30 p.m.

Trinity sophomore Caroline Fisher (Kennett Square, Pa.) opened the scoring with the first goal of her career 21:24 into the contest, converting on a pass by junior midfielder Caroline Curtin (Andover, Mass.).  Bantam junior midfielder Nicole Quinlan (Duxbury, Mass.) assisted classmate Jordan Ragland (Westport, Conn.) on the second goal minutes after halftime, and sophomore forward Kendall Brown (Greenwich, Conn.) completed the scoring with a tally from senior co-captain forward Chandler Solimine (Pelham, N.Y.) with just under 13 minutes left to play.  Rachel Loseby finished with 16 saves for the Owls.
