Amherst Series History: Dating back to its first ever meeting in 1977, the Bantams hold a commanding 23-12 record.
Recent History: Trinity looks to make it four straight wins against the Mammoths; last season, the Bantams won 2-0.
Notes and Numbers:
- Trinity’s last NESCAC game was a huge win against #10 Wesleyan. Junior Kendall Brown (Rowayton, Conn.) completed a hat trick within the first 17 minutes of the game to lead the Bantams to a 6-1 win.
- Trinity has won five of the six total games this season in non-league competition. The Bantams have won 2 out of 9 match-ups to NESCAC teams.
- Despite the tough conference record, the Bantams haven’t been blown out; every game in the month of October has been decided by one goal, and only two losses this season have come by two goals
- Brown’s three goals put her in the Trinity lead for total points, with senior Caroline Curtin (Andover, Mass.) a close second. Both athletes have passed the 20 total points mark.
