Hartford, Conn. -  Trinity College men's basketball recent graduate and 2016 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Player of the Year Shay Ajayi (Brooklyn, N.Y.) was recentyl profiled by on for his trememdous career as a student-athlete.  The Bantams finished the 2015-16 season with a 19-8 overall record and finished at the top of the NESCAC Standings with a 9-1 league mark.  The Bantams qualified for the NESCAC Championship Tournament for the 14th time and defeated Colby, 71-60, in the quarterfinals before falling to Middlebury, 70-58, in the semifinals.  Trinity received its ninth NCAA Tournament bid, falling, 75-73, against Johnson and Wales in the first round.

Fellow Bantam alum Keith Wolff was noted this summer in the Manchester Journal Inquirer for his recent selection as a member of the Manchester, Conn. Sports Hall of Fame, and in The Hartford Courant last month following his induction into the Kingswood-Oxford School Athletic Hall of Fame.  Wolff was an All-American on Trinity's NCAA Men's Basketball Final Four team in 1994-95 and won numerous athletic and academic honors while playing for the Bantams.  The Trinity squad was earlier cited as one of top-ten non-UConn college sports stories in Connecticut in an article in The Hartford Courant, while Ajayi and junior Ed Ogundeko (Brooklyn, N.Y.) were the subject of a feature in the same paper during the winter season.  Trinity Head Coach James Cosgrove was interviewed on Bob Parzych's "Kitchen Sink" show on the campus' WRTC-FM radio station in pre-season.
