Trinity Falls at Williams In Men's Basketball

Williamstown, Mass. – The visiting Trinity College Bantams saw their four-game winning streak come to an end with an 86-50 loss to the Williams College Ephs in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) men's basketball action this evening at Chandler Gymnasium.  Trinity drops to 13-6 overall and 2-3 in the NESCAC, while the No. 6-ranked Ephs improve to 17-2 overall and 5-1 in the league.  Trinity visits NESCAC rival Middlebury on Sunday at 2 p.m. in its next game, while the Ephs play Albertus Magnus on Monday at 7 p.m.

Senior forward Kyle Scadlock scored the first six points of the game to help the Ephs build a 25-10 lead with just under nine minutes left in the half.  Williams led by at least 17 points for the rest of the contest, making 10 three-pointers and 36 free throws.  The Bantams shot just 27.6 percent from the field and hit three of 17 three-point attempts, but made 15 of 17 free throws. Sophomore forward Donald Jorden (Tampa, Fla.) totaled 12 points and six rebounds) and junior tri-captain Kyle Padmore (Milton, Mass.) added eight points and five boards for the Bantams.  Trinity was outrebounded, 42-34, and three Bantams fouled out.  Senior Bobby Casey had 20 poijnts, while Scadlock finished with 14 points and a game-high nine rebounds for the Ephs.
