Trinity Men's Golf Improves On Second Day To Jump From Seventh To Third At Williams Invitational

Williamstown, Mass. - Senior tri-captain Will Rosenfield (Baltimore, Md.) improved seven strokes from yesterday's round with a two-under-par round of 69, tying for the best score of the day, to finish as the individual runner-up and lead the Trinity College Bantams to third place in the Williams College Men's Golf Fall Invitational on the championship course at Taconic Golf Club this weekend.  Trinity carded a team score of 607 with a 298 today, 11 strokes better than yesterday's 309, but was still two strokes behind second-place Husson and 19 behind first-place Willams.  Williams' Sam Goldenring bested Rosenfield by five strokes, 140 to 145, for the individual title.  Fellow Trinity senior tri-captain Taylor Kay-Green (Needham, Mass.) shot a 146 (74+72) to tie for third place overall, while senior tri-captain Jack Junge (Winnetka, Ill.) tied for 37th at 157 (81+76), sophomore Ricardo Paes Leme (Lake Villa, Ill.) tied for 48th at 159 (78+81), and senior Nick Branchina (Summit, N.J.) tied for 65th at 163 (82+81).
