Title: Assistant Men's Ice Hockey Coach
Phone: 860-297-5176

Zach Badalamenti has been hired as an assistant men's ice hockey coach at Trinity College for the 2019-20 season. Badalamenti, a graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point with a bachelor's degree in economics and management, played two years for the Pointers before joining its coaching staff. After suffering a career-ending neck injury during the 2015-16 season, Badalamenti spent the following three seasons as an assistant for one of the most decorated programs in the country. A member of the coaching staff during its first-ever undefeated season, he helped the Pointers to a 29-0-2 record and its sixth NCAA Championship in 2018-19. The program also allowed the fewest goals in program history (46).  Badalamenti coached four All-Americans during his tenure at UW-Stevens Point, and saw a Frozen Four appearance in 2016-17 while coaching a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference player of the year Tanner Karty. On the ice, he skated in six games, tallying a goal and two assists.
