    Middlebury, Vt. - The Middlebury College Panthers tallied the game's first nine goals and never looked back, handing the visiting Trinity College Bantams a 22-6 loss on Saturday in a New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) matchup at Alumni Stadium. Trinity falls to 8-5 on the year and 3-5 in the NESCAC while the Panthers improve to 6-6 overall and 4-4 in conference play. Trinity is off until next Saturday when it hosts Colby at 7:00 p.m.

Women's track and field junior Peace Kabari (Manchester, N.H.) and men's lacrosse junior Ben Ferrucci (Essex, Conn.) have been named as the Bantams of the Week.

The Bantams fall to 4-3 on the year and 0-3 in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) action while the No. 3-ranked Jumbos improve to 8-0 overall and 3-0 in conference play. Trinity returns to action on Tuesday for a 7 p.m. home game versus Wheaton.

The Bantams improve to 2-1 on the year while the Fighting Scots fall to 0-5. Trinity picks things back up on Saturday for a 1 p.m. New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) battle versus No. 13-ranked Bates.

    Hartford, Conn. - The Trinity College men's lacrosse season opener, originally schedule for Saturday, March 2, at home versus Roger Williams University, has been postponed to March 18th at 5:30 p.m. due to anticipated heavy snowfall. The Bantams, led by Head Coach Jason Tarnow (2nd season), will now begin the 2019 campaign at Jessee/Miller Field on Tuesday, March 5, versus Curry College at 6:30 p.m.
