  • Trinity Men's Lacrosse Players Receive Numerous Academic Accolades

    Hartford, Conn.- Trinity College men's lacrosse senior captain Alex Notman (Wellesley Hills, Mass.) and seniors Ben Knaus (Ross, Calif.) and Scott Morgan (East Grand Rapids, Mich.) were each named to the 2019 New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) All-Academic Team, while Notman, fellow seniors Ben MacShane (Concord, Mass.) and Jack McInnis (North Andover, Mass.), and sophomores Stephen Decker (Morristown, N.J.), Liam Fitzgerald (Skillman, N.J.), and Drew Kozub (Hopkinton, Mass.) each graced the 2019 NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team.

  • Trinity Spring Student-Athletes Named To NESCAC All-Academic Team

    Hartford, Conn. – The Trinity College spring athletic teams placed 65 student-athletes on the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) 2019 Spring All-Academic Team, as announced by the league on Friday. To be honored, an individual must have reached sophomore academic standing and be in good standing on their team with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50. A transfer student must have completed one year of study at the institution.

  • Men's Lacrosse Falls to Top-Seeded Tufts in NESCAC Quarterfinals

    Medford, Mass. - The Trinity College men's lacrosse team fell to the Tufts University Jumbos, 17-8, on Saturday afternoon in the quarterfinals of the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Tournament in Medford. Trinity, the No. 8-seed in the tournament, wraps up the season with an 8-7 record. The top-seeded Jumbos improve to 15-1 overall and move on to next weekend's semifinals. The Bantams reached the postseason for the first time since the spring of 2012, ending a six year drought.

    Hartford, Conn. - The Trinity College men's lacrosse team, which finished the 2019 season with an 8-7 overall record 3-7 mark in the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC), will visit the Tufts University Jumbos in the NESCAC Quarterfinals on Saturday, April 27 at 3 p.m.

    Hartford, Conn. - The Trinity College men's lacrosse team dropped its regular season finale, 21-7, on Wednesday evening to the Amherst College Mammoths at Jessee/Miller Field in Hartford. The Bantams end the regular season with an 8-7 overall record and 3-7 mark in the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) while Amherst, ranked No. 3 in the country, improves to 13-2 on the year and 8-2 in the conference.

    Hartford, Conn. – In a game that featured five lead changes and five ties, it was the Colby College Mules that came out on top, 12-11 in overtime, against the Trinity College Bantams in a New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) men’s lacrosse battle at Jessee/Miller Field in Hartford. Trinity Falls to 8-6 overall and 3-5 in the conference while the Mules improve to 8-5 overall and 3-5 in league play. Before the game, Trinity honored its 15-member senior class as part of Senior Night in the team’s final weekend regular season home game.

    Middlebury, Vt. - The Middlebury College Panthers tallied the game's first nine goals and never looked back, handing the visiting Trinity College Bantams a 22-6 loss on Saturday in a New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) matchup at Alumni Stadium. Trinity falls to 8-5 on the year and 3-5 in the NESCAC while the Panthers improve to 6-6 overall and 4-4 in conference play. Trinity is off until next Saturday when it hosts Colby at 7:00 p.m.
