Hartford, Conn. – Trinity College Men's Lacrosse Head Coach Jason Tarnow (3rd season) has announced his program’s schedule for the upcoming 2020 season, seeing a heavy slate of action on Jessee/Miller Field. The Bantams will take the field 15 times, highlighted by 10 games in front of its home crowd.
2019 saw Trinity go 9-8 with a 3-7 record in conference play, earning a NESCAC Tournament bid for the first time since 2012. This year's team returns breakthrough talent both offensively and defensively, as the Bantams look to continue its conference run and climb the NESCAC standings.
Trinity will open the season with league action, taking on Williams College on February 29 before travelling to Curry College for an non-conference matchup March 4. The Bantams hit the road that following weekend, traveling to Maine to play Bates in another conference competition. The team plays host for the following four games, seeing Clark March 11 and Middlebury on March 14. The following week, Lasell will trek south (3/18) and Tufts will visit Jessee/Miller field March 21. The team will then travel to Wheaton College the following week (3/24) for another out-of-conference matchup before finishing up the month of March hosting Salve Regina on March 28.
The Bantams start April travelling to in-state conference foe Connecticut College April 1. Three days later, the Bantams hit the road once again, this time going to Bowdoin for another NESCAC tilt (4/4). On April 8, Trinity hosts in-state conference opponent, Wesleyan, before Hamilton College makes their way to Hartford on April 11. The Bantams will finish up the month of April with two conference away matches, traveling to Colby College (4/18) before wrapping up its regular season slate at Amherst College on April 22. NESCAC tournament play will start that following weekend on April 25.
