THIS WEEK: The Trinity College men's soccer team enters the week with a 3-9-1 record after going 1-1 last week, highlighted by a 2-1 victory over in-state New England Small College Athletic Conference foe Wesleyan. The Bantams return to the pitch on Tuesday of this week when they host in-state, non-conference opponent Eastern Connecticut State at 7 p.m. for their lone match of the week.

ECSU Series History: Trinity is 21-7-1 against the Warriors since the innaugural matchup in 1984.
Recent history against the Warriors: Trinity defeated ECSU, 1-0, last season in Willimantic.
- Senior captain Cody Savonen leads the NESCAC in goals (8) and points (16). The senior captain also leads the conference in total shots (55) and shots on goal (31). Savonen scored twice against Wesleyan, scoring in the 34th and 37th minutes to put the Bantams ahead after falling behind 1-0. That was his third multi-goal game of the season.
-Senior captain Mateo Zabala is third in the league in total saves with 65. Zabala tied a season-high eight saves against Wesleyan turning in a stellar performance with mutliple late game saves to help clinch the 2-1 victory.
- Junior Alex Steel leads the squad and is tied for eighth in the NESCAC in assists (3).
- The Bantams are entering the home-stretch of their schedule with just two games left to play. Trinity will play at home for the final two games of the regular season including next Wednesday against Amherst for Senior Night.
