THIS WEEK: The Trinity College men's soccer team enters the week with a 2-11 record ahead of just one game this weekend. The Bantams travel to Wheaton College on Sunday afternoon for a non-conference match before next week's regular season finale at Amherst.
Wheaton Series History: Trinity is 3-1 all-time against the Lyons since the fall of 2013.
Recent history against the Lyons: Trinity and Wheaton combined for seven goals last season, but it was the Lyons who came out on top, 4-3.
- Trinity leads the league in saves with 88 and also leads the NESCAC in shot percentage (.135). The Bantams have scored 15 goals and tallied 17 assists (5th in NESCAC) to date.
- Sophomore Alistair Matule scored both Trinity goals against Middlebury and added two assists earlier in the week versus Western Connecticut State for a six-point week. Matule leads the Bantams with 13 points (T2nd in NESCAC) on five goals (T2nd in NESCAC) and three assists.
- Rookie Everett Lyons is second in the NESCAC in total saves with 55. Lyons tallied 13 total saves in Trinity's games last week.
- Senior tri-captain Alex Steel scored twice for the Bantams versus WCSU last week. The goals are Steel's second and third of his career. Sophomore Nigel Gustave also scored his second goal of the fall in the same game.
