This Week: The Trinity College men’s soccer program has a much-needed week off before returning to the pitch this Saturday. Trinity’s lone contest of the week is at home, playing host to Hamilton at 2 p.m.

Hamilton Series History: Dating back to 011, the Bantams are 2-3-2 against the Continentals.

Recent History: Hamilton has taken the last three contest from Trinity, with all three wins coming in shutout fashion.

 

Notes and Numbers:

 

  • Sophomore Everett Lyons (Southport, Conn.) has started the last two games in net for the Bantams, and has made a total of 15 saves in both setbacks. A season-high eight saves in a 2-0 loss to #1 Tufts, Lyons currently holds a .778 save percentage.
  • Freshman Alex Guglielmo (New Rochelle, N.Y.) and sophomore Eduardo Velez-Perez (Toa Baka, Puerto Rico) are both tied for the team lead in goals with two.
  • Guglielmo and classmate Josh Morency (Pembroke, N.H.) have three of the four goals scored against NESCAC opponents this season
  • Aside from injury, every player this season has seen time in at least four games.
