Trinity Men's Squash Wins NESCAC Championship Title For Fifth Year In a Row

Hartford, Conn. – Junior Antonio Gonzalez-Diaz (Mexico City Mexico) dominated the No. 5 match, allowing just 11 total points in a 3-0 win, to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 9-0 victory over the Williams College Ephs in the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Men's Squash Championship Finals at Trinity's George A. Kellner Squash Center this afternoon.  Twelve-time defending national champion Trinity, ranked No. 1 in the nation, improves to 14-0 and extends the longest winning streak in the history of intercollegiate varsity sports to 238 in a row.  The Bantams have won all five conference crowns since the league began holding this tournament in 2006-07.  Trinity did not lose a game at any of the nine spots in the lineup.  Williams, which was playing in its fifth consecutive NESCAC Final, falls to 12-9.
