Trinity Men's Squash Downs Princeton

Princeton, N.J. – Senior Randy Lim (Penang, Malaysia) and sophomore Juan Flores (San Salvador, El Salvador) posted 3-0 wins in the No. 5 and No. 9 matches, respectively, to lead the visiting Trinity College Bantams to a 6-3 victory over the Princeton University Tigers in men's squash action this evening at Jadwin Courts.  Twelve-time defending national champion Trinity, ranked No. 1 in the nation, improves to 16-0 and extends the longest winning streak in the history of intercollegiate varsity sports to 240 in a row.  The win is also the 299th for Head Coach Paul Assaiante as the Trinity head coach.  He has a 299-8 record for the Bantams entering Wednesday's regular-season finale at Brown.  No. 3-ranked Princeton drops to 9-2 with its first loss in four matches.  Trinity led, 3-0, after the first wave of matches before sophomore Johan Detter (Malmoe, Sweden) clinched the Bantam victory with a 3-1 win in the No. 8 match to give Trinity its fifth win.
