Trinity Opens CSA National Men's Squash Championship Tourney With Shutout Of F&M

Cambridge, Mass. - Senior Randy Lim (Penang, Malaysia) allowed just 10 total points scored against him to lead the visiting Trinity College Bantams to a 9-0 victory over the Franklin and Marshall College Diplomats in the College Squash Association (CSA) National Men’s Championship Quarterfinals this afternoon at Harvard University.  Twelve-time defending national champion Trinity, ranked No. 1 in the nation, improves to 18-0 and extends the longest winning streak in the history of intercollegiate varsity sports to 242 in a row.  The top-seeded Bantams will No. 4-seeded Rochester, which downed Cornell, 7-2, in its quarterfinal match this afternoon, in the CSA Semifinals tomorrow at noon at Harvard.  No. 8-seeded Franklin and Marshall drops to 11-7 and will play a consolation match against Cornell tomorrow.
