Men's Squash Topples Cornell for Seventh Straight Win

Hartford, Conn. - The top-ranked Trinity College men's squash team extended their win streak to seven in a row by scoring an 8-1 victory over No. 12 ranked Cornell University on Monday afternoon at the Kellner Squash Center at Trinity. Defending National Champion Trinity stays perfect on the year, improving to 7-0 while Cornell drops to 3-2. Bantam first-year Michael Craig (Belfast, Ireland) was dominant in the No. 2 spot, beating his opponent by a combined 33-7. Junior captain Affeeq Ismail (Kuching, Malaysia) and sophomore James Evans (Maidstone, England) also recorded 3-0 victories in the No. 5 and No. 6 spot, respectively. Trinity returns to action on Wednesday when they travel to Manhattan to face No. 5 ranked Columbia University.
