Trinity Men's Squash Doubles Up Princeton In NYC Match

New York, N.Y. - Sophomores Ziad Sakr (Tanta, Egypt) and Aryaman Adik (Mumbai, India) and junior Yehia Essam (Brooklyn, N.Y.) won 3-0 decisions at No. 4, No. 8 and No. 9, respectively, to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 6-3 victory over the Princeton University Tigers in men's squash action afternoon at the University Club.  The match was the season opener for top-ranked Trinity, while the No. 8-ranked Tigers fall to 0-2.

Trinity won its points at the top-four and the bottom-two spots on the ladder.  Trinity junior Kush Kumar (Chennai, India) won, 3-1, over Clark Doyle at the top of the lineup, while senior tri-captain Tom De Mulder (Ghent, Belgium) won, 3-1, at the No.  position, and junior Thoboki Mohohlo (Johanessburg, South Africa) won, 3-2, at the No. 3 spot for the Bantams.  Princeton's Gabriel Morgan handed Trinity junior Andrew Lee (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) his first career loss, 3-2, in the No. 7 match.  Lee had won his first 26 collegiate matches over two seasons.
