Trinity Men's Squash Drops Dartmouth

Hanover, N.H. - The visiting Trinity College Bantams downed the Dartmouth College Big Green, 8-1, in men's squash action this afternoon.  The No. 4-ranked Bantams improve to 8-1, while the No. 6-ranked Big Green falls to 6-2 with their first loss in four matches.  Trinity hosts No. 7-ranked Yale on Wednesday, January 23 at 6 p.m. in its next match.  Dartmouth plays at No. 2-ranked Rochester next Saturday at noon.

Trinity won three matches by 3-0 scores, as junior Kush Kumar (Dhampur, Malaysia) swept the No. 1 match, sophomore Aryama Adik (Mumbai, India) did the same at No. 6, and senior Nku Patrick (San Fernando, Trinidad) won, 3-0, at the bottom spot.  Trinity rookie Will Curtis (Joondalup, Australia) came out on top in the day's most competitive match, splitting the first two games and eking out a 21-19 win in the deciding fifth.  The best match of the day would eventually go down as a tough loss for Jack Bell. The freshman forced a fifth game that neither side wanted to give up. Trinity's Will Curtis eventually came out on top by a score of 21-19 to the win match.
