Chris Binnie begins his eighth year as an assistant coach for Trinity men's squash in 2019-20. Binnie has also served as the women's assistant coach for the Bantams. A two-sport athlete in squash and soccer for the Bantams, Binnie completed his squash eligibility in the spring of 2011 and his soccer career the ensuing fall. He is a 2012 graduate of the College with a bachelor's degree in environmental studies and economics.
Binnie has played squash for his native Jamaica since 2000 and has won both the Jamaica and the Caribbean Championship titles eight times apiece. He is currently ranked among the top 100 players on the Professional Squash Association (PSA) World Tour. While a member of Trinity's 16-time College Squash Association (CSA) National Championship squad, Binnie posted a 52-5 record and earned All-American honors. He coached both squash and soccer simultaneously for Trinity for two seasons while earning a master's degree as a graduate assistant.
