Trinity Men's Swimming And Diving Collects Victory At Vassar

Poughkeepsie, N.Y. - First-year Radojica Pavlovic (Belgrade, Serbia) won two individual races and two relays to lead the visiting Trinity College Bantams to a 172-106 victory over the Vassar College Brewers in men's swimming and diving action this afternoon.  The Bantams improve to 4-1 with their third consecutive dual-meet win.  Trinity got off to a 15-4 lead by taking first and third place in the meet-opening relay race.  Senior tri-captain Tristan McConnell (Merion Station, Pa.), Pavlovic, and fellow rookies Blake Jamilkowski (New York, N.Yl) and Charlie Roth (Alexandria, Va.) recorded a winning time of 1:39.13 to win by just .24 seconds over Vassar's foursome.  Pavlovic also won the 50- and 100-yard freestyle races with respective times of 21.92 and 48.91, while Roth took first in the 100-yard backstroke at 59.14 and the 200-yard back at 2:00.90.  First-year Owen Hall (Potomac, Md.) won both the 1,000-yard free at 10:24.84 and the 200-yard fly at 2:06.08, and freshman diver Alex Schrock (Long Lake, Minn.) finished first in the one-meter diving with a score of 213.30.  The meet ended like it started, as Hall, Pavlovic, and senior tri-captains John Dolan (Detroit, Mich.) and Hunter Mitchell-Adams (Stratford, Conn.) teamed up to win the 400-yard free relay by nearly five seconds.
