Swimming & Diving Unveils 2019-20 Season Schedule

The Trinity College men's and women's swimming and diving programs, led by Head Coach Carlos Vega (6th season), has announced its schedule for the upcoming 2019-20 season. With the Bantams being featured at home twice this season, both the men's and women's squads return key performers, including junior Radojica Pavlovic (Belgrade, Serbia) and Lia Urban-Spillane (Rochester, N.Y), who was honored as a 2019 College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA) Scholar All-American. 

The Bantams start the season on the road against a league foe in Hamilton (11/16). After traveling up to Maine to face Bates on the 24th, the Bantams continue its road trip, swimming in its one meet of December against in-state rival Connecticut College (12/4) to close out the calendar year. 

The team will return from its month-long competitive break to face Brandeis, kicking off its heaviest portion of the season on January 11th. Both teams will travel to Vassar on the 14th, with the women's team swimming against both Vassar and Mount Holyoke for its first tri-meet of the season. The two squads continue its road trip to Clark (1/18) before returning home for its first meet of the year against Wesleyan (1/21). The teams rejoin again for senior day, swimming against cross-town rival St. Joseph's (1/24).

The Bantams will travel twenty minutes south to take on both Bowdoin (1/25) and Colby (1/25) at Wesleyan. Wrapping up the regular season February 1st at Worcester Tech, with the women's team will close out its diving schedule at the RPI Invitational on the eighth.

NESCAC Championships will begin on February 13th for the women's program, with the men's to follow on the 20th; both of which to be hosted by Williams College. The women's program will compete in the February Invitational at Williams, and both squads will see the NCAA Diving Northeast Regional on the 8th before the Division III National Championships on March 18th.
