Trinity Men's Tennis Competes at Wallach Invitational

Lewiston, Maine - First-years Scott Danforth (Greenwich, Conn.) and Christopher Bilicic (Chicago, Ill.) both earned victories in singles play while a pair of Bantam duos won in doubles competition as the Trinity College men's tennis team competed at the Wallach Invitational over the weekend at Bates College. Danforth and Bilicic both picked up wins in the "D" bracket with Danforth downing his opponent from Brandeis 6-2, 7-6 (3), and Bilicic defeating his counterpart with a dominant, 6-1, 6-0 victory. In the "A" doubles bracket, senior captain Rex Glickman (Chappaqua, N.Y.) and sophomore Courtland Boyle (Pembroke, Mass.) teamed up for an 8-6 victory before falling, 8-4, in the second round. Sophomore William Frigerio (Villanova, Pa.) and rookie Tanner Boyle (Pembroke, Mass.) also picked up a victory in the "A" doubles bracket with an 8-6 win over their opponents from Wheaton.
