Medford, Mass. - The visiting Trinity College Bantams lost, 9-0, to the Tufts University Jumbos in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) men's tennis action this afternoon at Voute Courts.  Trinity falls to 1-7 overall and 0-4 in the NESCAC with its third setback in a row, while the No. 17-ranked Jumbos improve to 5-6 overall and 1-3 in the league with their first win in four matches. Trinity hosts NESCAC rival Colby on Saturday at 2 p.m. in its next match.

Trinity sophomores Chris Bilicic (Chicago, Ill.) and Granville Kaynor (New Orleans, La.) came up just short at third doubles, falling, 8-7 (7-5), while Bantam rookie Dylan Powell (Warwick, Bermuda) played an epic match with Tufts's Ben Biswas at fourth singles but lost, 6-3, 1-6, 12-10.  Bilicic and junior Courtland Boyle (Pembroke, Bermuda) both played competitive first sets in singles for Trinity, but the Jumbos ended up winners in straight sets in five of the six singles matches.
