Trinity Men's Tennis Competes In Wallach Invitational At Bates

Lewiston, Maine - Junior tri-captain Chris Bilicic (Chicago, Ill.) and sophomore Dylan Powell (Pembroke, Bermuda) went 1-1 in the "A" doubles flight, as the Trinity College Bantams competed in the Wallach Men's Tennis Invitational this weekend at Bates College.  Bilicic/Powell bested Jacob Eisenberg and Aaron Ramos, 8-3, in the opening round before falling to Bowdoin's Tristan Bradley and Oscar Yang in the quarterfinals by a score of 8-2.  Bilicic also lost a hard-fought single battle in the "A" flight, in three sets, 4-6, 6-2, 10-7, to Bates' Cam Kania.  Trinity senior Will Frigerio (Villanova, Pa.) also dropped a three-setter, 6-1, 5-7, 10-7, to Bates' Ted Koide in the "C" singles flight.
