Trinity Men's Track and Field Brings Home 12th at Snowflake Classic

Medford, Mass. - The Trinity College men's outdoor track and field team turned in a 12th place finish at the Tufts University Snowflake Classic on Saturday afternoon in Medford. The Bantams return to action next weekend at the Coast Guard Invitational on Saturday, April 7, in New London.

Junior Alex Tomcho (Hartford, Conn.) finished fifth in the 200-meter dash, showing strong in his first outdoor race since the 2016 outdoor season. Senior captain Kyle Larsson (Franklin Lakes, N.J.) finished with a sub-2:00 800-meter dash, good for fifth place, while rookie Stephen Tyler (Weston, Mass.) finished the same race in 2:00.38, good for seventh. Junior Luke Mayer (Morristown, N.J.) finished third in the 100-meter hurdles, just .20 seconds off the top time while classmate Joseph Ruggiero (Manchester, Conn.) took home third in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a 10:01.76 finals time.
