Trinity Men's Indoor Track And Field Competes In Cupid Challenge

Medford, Mass. - Sophomore Kinnard Hughes (Chicago, Ill.) and first-year Kai Balin (Shutesbury, Mass.) posted second-place finishes, as the Trinity College Bantams competed in the Cupid Challenge Men's Indoor Track and Field Invitational at Tufts University's Gantcher Center.  Hughes recorded a distance of 45'03" in the triple jump, 2.25 inches out of first place.  Balin finished the 400-meter dash in 50.78 seconds to place .03 seconds ahead of the third-place runner and 0.57 seconds shy of the winner.  Trinity sophomore Henry Potter (Lake Oswego, Oregon) added a third-place time of 2:15.33 in the 1,000-meter run, while first-year Travis Martin (New Haven, Conn.) was fourth in the mile run at 4:17.58.
