Michael Goulet begins his seventh season as an assistant men's and women's cross country and indoor and outdoor track and field coach at Trinity College in 2019-20. A 2011 graduate of the College with a bachelor's degree in history, Goulet was a thrower for the indoor and outdoor track and field squads and served two years as team captain, and also played varsity football for the Bantams. While at Trinity he earned All-NESCAC honors three times in the discus and twice in the shot put, and collected All-New England honors for the weight throw, three times for discus, and seven times in the shot put (three indoor and four outdoor), and graced the All-New England Open twice in the discus. He also started for three years on the Trinity football offensive line, helping the Bantams record an undefeated season in 2008.
Goulet hails from Glastonbury, Conn., and was the high school track and field head coach at RHAM High School in Hebron, Conn. He holds a USATF Level 1 Track and Field Certification, and continues to compete in the discus and hammer throw.
