Trinity Men's Cross Country Takes Ninth At Connecticut College Invitational

Waterford, Conn. - Sophomore Ace McAlister (Great Barrington, Mass.) recorded an 11th-place time of 25:40.9 over 8,000 meters, as the Trinity College Bantams raced to ninth place as a squad in the Connecticut College Men's Cross Country Invitational at Harkness State Park this afternoon.  The Bantams totaled 302 points to edge Plattsburgh State by one and finish 17 shy of eighth-place Babson. McAlister's time was just .8 seconds behind the 10th-place runner and 68.5 seconds off the first-place pace.  Trinity sophomores Lucas Duros (Wilmette, Ill.) and Timothy Bogomolov (Lynn, Mass.) crossed the finish line .01 second apart in 51st and 52nd place, respectively, 1:02 after McAlister.
