Brittany Sarnese begins her fifth season as a Trinity College assistant softball coach in the 2019-20 academic year. Sarnese arrived at Trinity in the fall of 2015 after two seasons at Brandeis, her alma mater, where she was an assistant in 2013-14 and interim head coach for the 2014-15 campaign. Sarnese guided the Judges to a 21-14 overall record and the 2015 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championship title while coaching three all-conference and one all-regional selection.
Sarnese earned her bachelor's degree in studio art from Brandeis in 2012, where she was a softball captain. She graduated among the top five all-time Judges in hits, at-bats, total bases, doubles, runs, RBI and games played. Sarnese was a three-time all-conference and a two-time All-New England honoree, as well as a CoSIDA Academic All-District selection. Sarnese, who completed her master's degree in American Studies from Trinity in 2017, was named the first-ever head women’s golf coach at Trinity in the spring of 2018.
